The Two Wolves

There is a battle of two wolves inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, lies, inferiority and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth. The wolf that wins? The one you feed.”

– Cherokee Proverb

The origin of this tale depicting the inner struggle within all of us between good and evil, right and wrong, is somewhat murky, but is likely rooted in a passage from Billy Graham’s 1978 book, The Holy Spirit: Activating God’s Power in Your Life.
